Denbow is hiring a Class 1 Blower Truck Operator
Job Summary:
Driving & operating a Blower truck through the Fraser Valley/Lower Mainland. Start & finish from Chilliwack daily, home every evening. The work consists of a mix of driving/loading the truck, with a good portion of the day spent on various sites installing materials for landscape and environmental applications. Materials include mulches, soils, compost, rock, PlayChips and occasionally sawdust installed into residential & commercial landscaping, greenroofs, slopes, playgrounds, barns, etc. The materials are blown through a hose from the truck, by remote control.
The successful applicant must enjoy working in a team environment and be willing to work long hours as required.
Core Competencies
Backing up, turning, getting into tight spaces, etc
Wheel loader operation
Physically fit - able to climb ladders & slopes, etc
Clean drug test upon hire & random testing
Able to read maps/follow GPS and a good understanding of the Fraser Valley truck routes.
