How do I calculate how much mulch I need?

As we start the fall mulching season, one of the most common questions we get is "How do I calculate how much mulch I require for my project?"

Take these easy steps:

1. Measure all the areas you need to cover with mulch.  Calculate the length and the width of each area.
2. Determine how deep you need to put the mulch.  We recommend 2-4", depending on the current landscape.
