It's the season for golf tournaments! We are proud to sponsor three tournaments this spring:
ChickenGolf - with the hashtag of #farmersfeedpeople the BC Chicken Growers’ Association & BC Broiler Hatching Egg Producers’ Association raised funds for Canuck Place at their annual tournament on June 11 at The Chilliwack Golf Club.
Congrats to all the players, sponsors and organizers on raising $43,000 for Canuck Place! What a success!
The 16th annual Fraser Valley Golf Tournament in support of Adult & Teen Challenge of BC was held on June 18 at Redwoods Golf Club. They had a wonderful turnout of golfers joining together to fundraise to help bring freedom to men and women caught in the bondage of addiction. As a community raised $38,000 for the Abbotsford Women's Centre and Chilliwack Men's Centre. If you could help change the life of a man or woman struggling with addictions by playing golf for the day, would you? You would? Join in next year!
And coming up next week is the Annual BCLNA Golf Tournament at Redwoods as well. This tournament raises funds for the BC Landscape Nursery Association, as well as partial proceeds will go to the Jane Stock Foundation in memory of BCLNA Memeber Nicholas Funke. We are looking forward to seeing lots of landscapers at hole #8 - win something on our giant plinko game!
